wHo aRe We LiViNg FOR?

“None of us lives for himself only and none of us dies for himself only. If we live, we live for the Lord and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether we live or we die, we belong to the Lord.” Romans 14: 7-8

We  are created in the image and likeness of God. In this world we live in, we do not live for ourselves only. We are to live for others as well as die for others. Since our living and dying is for the Lord (in whom we share the same likeness), then our living and dying is also for our neighbors as well.

When we find ourselves in moments of joy and happiness because of our neighbors, we should remember it is for the Lord and when the times of trials, tribulations, persecution, sorrow show up, we should remember it is for the Lord. For our Lord Jesus Christ died and rose to life in order to be Lord of the living and the dead (Joy and Sorrows).

Some people would eat anything and consider all the days same while others will eat only vegetables and consider certain days holy but they all do this in honour of the Lord. So if we decide to live  (eat anything) or die (eat only vegetables) we are in no position as humans to judge others actions for our Lord is the Lord of the living and the dead and whatever each one of us does will be accounted for when we stand before the judgement seat.

so whether we eat or not eat everything, whether or not we consider certain days holy, whether  we belong to a different faith, religious group, denomination, culture and the list goes on, we should remember that those on the  opposite end are also God’s creation and thus we live and die for them just as we live and die for the Lord. Thus there should not be room for any judgement!!!!!

JUST TO MAKE THE WORLD A BEAUTIFUL PLACE AS GOD CREATED IT.

• Simply do not judge a person’s actions for you do not know the person’s stance with his creator. 
• In being our brother’s keeper just make sure whatever your brother is doing is done in honour of the Lord.
